Junior Web Content Developer
Hours: 09:00 – 17:30 Mon – Fri (some occasional weekend or evening work may be required)
Contract: Part Time (Working from home possible during COVID Restrictions)

We are an exciting Performance Electric & Luxury 4X4 Rental brand. Our exciting business marries both high performance self-drive rental and intuitive tech to creeate one of London’s most innovative car hire brands. EV Hire launched in 2017 and we are looking for an entrepreneurial 'Junior Web Content Developer' to assist in its rapid expansion both in the UK and overseas.
At this crucial early stage of the business, we are seeking somebody with real entrepreneurial drive to help us rapidly expand within the Electric and 4x4 hire industry. Reporting directly to the founder, you will be involved in all areas of the organisation.
Working within the digital team you will be key to growing the online fleet offerings by adding, reviewing and editing content throughout the organisations Web Content Management systems (C5) to ensure all content is accurate, usable and accessible.
Responsible for all content for in-house vehicles web pages including the growth of the "Trusted Partner" fleet vehicle web pages
Working alongside our inhouse copywriters, you will deliver new content to the website, social media channels and e-newsletters to support our online communications and digital transformation objectives.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of designing and editing usable and accessible web content on websites and intranets
- Demonstrable understanding and experience of website usability and accessibility best practice and guidelines.
- Experience of using website analytics software to provide meaningful and actionable reports and insights into customer behaviour.
- Relevant technical expertise and skills, such as the use of Content Management Systems, HTML/CSS, photo and video editing tools, Adobe Acrobat, Mailchimp, social media and MS Office.
This is a very wide-ranging role requiring a self-reliant, self-starter to hit the ground running. You will need to be hands-on, organised and able to work independently. As a result you will have the opportunity to make a huge impact on the evolution of an exciting start-up and most likely accelerate your career rapidly. Full training will be provided in house
