Valeter / Driver
Hours: Varied
Contract: Zero Hours working between 08:00 and 19:00 Monday – Friday and 08:00 – 17:00 on Saturday
About EV Hire:
We are an exciting Performance Electric & Luxury 4X4 Rental brand. Our exciting business marries both high performance self-drive rental and intuitive tech to creeate one of London’s most innovative car hire brands. EV Hire launched in 2017 and we are looking for a resourceful Valeter / Driver to assist in its rapid expansion both in the UK and overseas.
The Role:The successful candidate will combine the roles of on-site valeter and driver. Valeting responsibilities mean that you will consistently ensure that our vehicles are prepared to a high standard in readiness for delivery. The valeter / driver will provide a high level of customer service when delivering and collecting vehicles, ensuring that documentation is completed and delivery/ collection checks are carried out accurately.
Flexibility will be required as the successful candidate may be asked to assist with office-based duties during peak periods.
Main Responsibilities:
Working within the customer service team, your main responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
1) To clean vehicles inside and out to an exceptionally high standard, ensuring customer satisfaction.
2) To deliver and collect a variety of vehicles.
3) To inspect all vehicles at the time of delivery and collection to ensure that any defects or damage are recorded, agreed and signed for by the customer, whilst maintaining a strong relationship with the customer.
4) Where appropriate, to identify any faults on the vehicles and report as necessary.
5) To complete all necessary handover paperwork and on-line processes, such as rental check sheets etc. ensuring that all details are correct and accurate.
6) To take reasonable care of your own health and safety, and to take reasonable care not to put other people at risk by what you do or don’t do in the course of your work.

7) Ability to use / complete digital paperwork as required

10) To have held a full clean driving licence for over two years
11) Good driving skills and the ability to drive a variety of vehicles, both EV and ICE.
Please note that, due to insurance restrictions on the age of drivers for some of our vehicles, we can only accept applications from candidates aged 30 and above.
This role will be pivotal in the growth of EV Hire as enquiries and bookings increase. The role will require the successful candidate to be able to work independently as well as being part of the team. You will have the opportunity to make a huge impact on the evolution of this growing business.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience working in a driving role is desirable when applying for this position. However, just as important is a positive, ‘can do’ attitude so candidates without previous experience in the vehicle rental industry will be considered.
Customer Service Adviser
Hours: 09:00 – 18:00 Mon – Fri (some occasional weekend or evening work may be required)
Contract: Full Time (Working from home possible on occasions)

EV Hire launched in 2017 and we are looking for a resourceful Customer Service Advisor to assist in its rapid expansion both in the UK and overseas.
The Role:The Customer Service Adviser will serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking to rent a vehicle. Their primary duties will include answering customer enquiries, making vehicle recommendations from our wide selection if requested, liaising with trusted partners and managing the rental process from start to finish.
Main Responsibilities:
Working within the customer service team, your main responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
1) Answering telephone enquiries and accurately recording customer information.
2) Liaising with trusted partners and suppliers to reserve vehicles.
3) Collecting and checking information and documents from customers.
4) Taking payment information when required.
5) Passing on all relevant information to trusted partners.
6) Ensuring that the customer enjoys a world-class vehicle rental experience.
