TESLA MODEL Y LONG RANGE PERFORMANCE TO JOIN EV HIRE FLEET IN 2022
EV Hire is delighted to announce that the Tesla Model Y Long Range Performance is due to join the company’s growing fleet of performance electric vehicles in the second quarter of 2022.
The Tesla Model Y Performance Hire is based on the Tesla Model 3, the UK’s best selling car in 2020. The Model Y uses the Model 3 platform and evolves it into a practical SUV that offers the same class-leading performance that made the Model 3 so popular.
The Model Y uses Tesla’s Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive technology to provide a range of 298 miles, a top speed of 150mph and acceleration from 0 to 60mph in 3.5 seconds – all this in a family-friendly SUV!
With the larger cabin, the Model Y Performance offers additional headroom over the Model 3 and a massively increased load space of 850 litres with the rear seats in position and 2,158 litres with the rear seats folded flat.
The Tesla Model Y Performance will be equipped with some of the most advanced safety equipment, making it the ideal vehicle for the growing family. 360-degree rear, side and forward-facing cameras provide maximum visibility while the 160-metre forward-facing radar means you have a long-range view of distant objects. Ultrasonic sensors placed around the car can detect nearby vehicles, prevent collisions and assist with parking.
The Tesla Supercharger network means that you can charge quickly and easily with the Model Y’s central touchscreen keeping you constantly updated on your state of charge, along with the distance and availability of Superchargers en-route.
Once delivery is confirmed, the Tesla Model Y Long Range Performance Hire will be available to book.
