With the German marque working with urgency towards zero-emission mobility, the company has announced that the new models will be produced in a completely CO₂-neutral way.

The interiors will feature a 12.3” digital instrumentation panel ahead of the driver with a centrally-mounted 12.8” infotainment display. The top-of-the range 580 will also offer the Hyperscreen in which the front panel of the vehicle is almost a single piece of glass under which sit three screens, allowing the front-seat passenger to control their own infotainment options.
Visually, the Mercedes EQS will feature a blanked-off front grille, a horizontal light bar across the front and angular LED headlights with the optional Digital Light functionality.

Due to arrive by the end of 2022, the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV will provide stiff competition for the Audi e-tron and the BMW iX, along with the plethora of other EV SUVs being planned by US and Chinese manufacturers.
Given Mercedes’ reputation for quality and durability, especially in the corporate and VIP market, there is no doubt that the new EQS SUV will be leading the market as the electrification of private transportation gathers pace.
