Booking your dream Tesla Hire: How EV Hire makes it easy

Our online booking platform at EV Hire is fully optimised to put ease of use and clarity at the forefront. Below you will see a step-by-step overview of just how simple this process is to secure your Tesla hire booking. Our booking platform mirrors the high quality of the Tesla’s that we have on offer. It is bespoke, sleek and ergonomically resolute in every aspect. 

Step One: Book Now

Once you have browsed our fleet of Tesla’s you can then go directly to the booking platform using the Book Now icon on the top right of the page. This icon resides in the same position on all our website pages. No matter which page you are on, you will have ready access to it.

Step Two: Five Simple Questions

You will be asked a small number of questions to ensure that you meet the terms and conditions of hire before we proceed to Tesla hire model selection. The menus are all drop down boxes, so no typing is required. This information is needed to ensure that you meet the minimum requirements to hire our Tesla’s, which the vast majority of the public will. All hire companies have some variation of these questions and they are standard in the vehicle hire industry.

Step Three: Booking Details

This section of the booking process asks you to make selections on the following:

• Your Tesla Model: You can select to hire either the Model S P100D Ludicrous Plus or the Model X P100D Ludicrous Plus currently.

• Start Date: The date from which you would like to take delivery of the Tesla Hire. Tesla hire durations for two days or less may be collected from our Head Office in Croydon where we supply gated indoor secure parking for your existing vehicle. A calendar menu is in use for your convenience on all date menus which is a live availability picture of our Tesla Hire UK fleet. If the date is greyed out, unfortunately this model is already booked out for that date

• Start Time: The time from which your Tesla hire can be delivered to you or collected in person from our head office.

• End Date: The date on which your Tesla hire will be picked up by our EV Hire representative or returned by you to our head office. 

• End Time: The time that your Tesla needs to be with returned to our representative or head office as described in your hire agreement.

Step Four: Your Details

This section allows you to create a hire account with EV Hire. The beauty of the account is that it allows for a paperless system, which means no cumbersome paper trail for you to follow. Including your details allows us to contact you, keep track of any multiple bookings that you make and so forth. Your personal information will be secure and we will not share your details with third party agencies. Keep your password secure and safe.

Step Five: Payment

The key aspect here is that there are no hidden extras. The price that you see in red is exactly the price that you will pay once the process is complete. If you have a discount code once entered the discount will be applied automatically before the payment is processed. If your billing address is different from your personal address this can be amended by un-checking the “use personal address” box. This is particularly useful for hire clients who are using a business account.

Once your payment is processed your booking will be secured. All these steps together will take a little under five minutes to complete.

Confirmation

You will then receive two emails in short succession. The first email will be a hire receipt with all the details of your hire transaction. The second email will detail how to upload the necessary identity and insurance documentation. This is a legal requirement to allow us to hand over the fob to take your Tesla.

We have designed a streamlined system that means you will not be required to bring this documentation with you to the office. Simply login to your EV Hire account and enter your DVLA code. You can then upload either a scan or photograph of your driving licence, alongside a range of identity documents. This information is then held securely on our servers. We have found that not having to bring these documents in paper form to our head office is a very popular aspect of our booking system. All clients will also receive a VAT invoice email in due course.
